These Terms and Conditions apply to all vineyard tours and visitor experiences and services provided by The Old Roots Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) or any of its approved third‑party providers.

By booking a tour, an experience or any related services, the person making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted these conditions on behalf of the persons included in the booking:

1. Eligibility

• Visitors must be 16 years or over.

• Any visitor under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the entire duration of the tour.

• Visitors under 18 may join the vineyard tour but are not permitted to participate in any wine tasting activities.

• Animals are not permitted on the premises, with the sole exception of registered guide dogs or assistance dogs. Such dogs must remain under the full control of their handler at all times and must never be allowed to roam freely.

• Some areas of the vineyard may be unsuitable for visitors with reduced mobility due to terrain conditions

2. Accessibility requirements

If you require assistance or reasonable adjustments, you must contact us before making a booking at sales@theoldroots.com.
We may decline a booking if essential information is not provided in advance.

3. Safety and alcohol consumption

• You must inform our staff upon arrival if you are a designated driver. Drivers are not permitted to consume alcohol at any point during the tour. No exceptions will be made, nor will any liability be accepted, if proper notification has not been provided. The name of the designated driver will remain on record until the end of the tour, and a driving licence could be requested to verify their identity.

• Staff may refuse to serve alcohol at their discretion for safety reasons.

4. Cancellations, booking amendments and refunds

4.1. General Provisions

• Requests to amend or cancel a booking must be submitted in writing via email to sales@theoldroots.com, we do not accept amendment or cancellation requests by telephone.

• No request will be processed outside office hours. While we will make every reasonable effort to process written requests promptly, processing may require up to 1-2 working days.

• No cancellation or amendment of a booking will be accepted if requested less than 5 days before the scheduled start time. In such case, no rescheduling or refund can be offered to the customer.

• Any authorised refund will be issued using the same payment method that was used for the original purchase.

4.2. Booking Amendments

• Only one amendment is permitted per booking.

• Assignation of a new booking date and time is subject to availability, and will be agreed with the customer.

• Amendments requested more than 15 days before the scheduled start time will be charged an administrative fee of €15.

• Amendments requested between 15 days and 5 days before the scheduled start time will have an administrative fee of €25.

4.3. Cancellations

• Cancellations requested more than 15 days before the scheduled start time will receive a refund of 70% of the amount paid, minus an administrative fee of €15.

• Cancellations requested between 15 days and 5 days before the scheduled start time will receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid, minus an administrative fee of €15.

4.4. Cancellations by The Old Roots

In the event that we must cancel or reschedule a tour due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements or any other reason, visitors will be offered:

• An alternative date and time, or

• A refund under the same payment method used for the original booking.

• No administrative fee will apply in these cases.

5. Personal belongings

We accept no responsibility for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during your visit.

6. Damage and liability

You (the person making the booking) are responsible for any damage caused directly or indirectly by your actions to:

• Our facilities or equipment

• Neighbouring property

• Other visitors

This liability is extended to the actions of any person in your group, any animal that might be part of your group, and any damage arising from the use of your vehicles in the premises.

We are not liable for injuries or losses resulting from failure to follow instructions or inappropriate behaviour.

7. Behaviour

We reserve the right to remove any visitor behaving in an unsafe or disruptive manner, without entitlement to a refund.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to Irish court jurisdiction.
